Step by step guide to applying for accommodation
> Step 1Visit our webpages to decide on the type of room and location you are interested in. |
> Step 2If you are holding an offer to study here and have accepted your place, you can apply for accommodation online. It can take 24 hours after accepting your offer with UCAS before you’ll be able to log on. |
> Step 3Once we receive your application, we'll send you an acknowledgement email. If you're an insurance offer holder, a postgraduate, or a visiting student, we'll email you a confirmation form as part of your acknowledgement - keep this safe as you'll need it later on. |
> Step 4When you have met the conditions of your accepted offer, we will automatically process your application for accommodation. Postgraduate, insurance and visiting students need to return the confirmation form first. View the terms of our accommodation guarantee, along with deadlines for applying. |
> Step 5Once we have allocated you accommodation, we will email you with details of the property you will be living in and how to view your contract online. > Step 6When you accept your contract, you'll be asked to pay a £150 deposit. Your rent is paid in three instalments. If you are on a 42 week contract, the first instalment will be taken on 1 October 2013, the second on 22 January 2014 and the third on 30 April 2014. If you don't accept your contract by the date stated in your email, we will re-allocate your room to someone else, so remember to make a note of the date! |
