Accommodation for students on special courses

Any course that is not a standard undergraduate or postgraduate degree is called a special course. These include Erasmus, ELTC, the study abroad programme and visiting students.

Erasmus

Erasmus students coming for the full academic year are guaranteed a room in University accommodation. If you are an Erasmus student coming for only one semester, we do have a small number of rooms available, however, you are not guaranteed a place in University accommodation.

ELTC

English Language Teaching Centre (ELTC) students can apply for University accommodation but aren't guaranteed a room. Find out more about accommodation for ELTC students by downloading 'ELTC Accommodation 2012' at the right-hand side of this page.

Study abroad

Providing you meet our conditions, you are guaranteed a room in University accommodation.

If you don't meet the terms of our guarantee or are not offered a room, don't worry. We will support you in finding suitable accommodation elsewhere in Sheffield.
