Overall satisfaction has increased compared to 2009 with 76% of you telling us that you´re satisfied with your University accommodation experience. What´s more, we´re seeing high levels of satisfaction across the vast majority of areas surveyed, including:
Your pre-arrival experience
We know how daunting starting University can be and how important it is for you to know what to expect when moving into your accommodation, so we´re really pleased that satisfaction across nine aspects of your pre-arrival experience all increased significantly with satisfaction scores of up to 86%! The 2009 survey identified the need for improvements in this area and it´s great to see that the changes made have had such a positive impact.
Your accommodation
You like where you live! We´ve seen increases in satisfaction across the majority of the different accommodation aspects, especially with the standard of your accommodation. The fantastic scores show that we are providing you with the type of accommodation that you want to live in.
Maintenance
We know how important maintenance is to you and always try to fix any problems as soon as we can. Last year´s survey identified the need for changes to the systems used to log maintenance issues and satisfaction with all aspects of maintenance surveyed increased significantly – a fantastic result.
Helpfulness of staff
Our staff are here to make sure that you enjoy your time in University accommodation, and we´re really pleased that your satisfaction with the helpfulness of our staff has increased across all areas!
