HEA Discipline Workshop and Seminar Series 2011-12
The Department of Automatic Control & Systems Engineering will be hosting the HEA Discipline Workshop and Seminar Series 2011-12 even entitled "The use of MATLAB within Engineering degrees".
The seminar aimes to share best practice from UK academics in supporting student learning without requiring excessive times to run practice laboratory classes and for marking or giving feedback. Subjects covered will include student engagement and independent learning, automated generation of marks and feedback, MATLAB assessment and interactive teaching approaches with MATLAB.
The event will take place at the University of Sheffield on 4 April 2012
