How to apply

Thank you for your interest in studying on our MSc in Control Systems, to apply you need to make a formal application through the University.

The course is full time and has one intake per year, which is in September. We accept applications throughout the year, however we encourage early applications as the visa process for overseas applicants can often take a few months.

Entry requirements

As a candidate for the Master's course, you will typically be an engineering, mathematics or science honours graduate (holding a 2.1 degree or equivalent) from a recognised institution, looking to pursue a career in systems, control or information technology.

Alternatively, you may be an experienced professional, thinking about updating your knowledge of the subject.

Applicants whose first language is not English are required to have either; IELTS 6.5 (with 6 in each component), or TOEFL 88 (IBT). If you would like to improve your English language skills before you register, pre-sessional English language courses are available at the University's English Language Teaching Centre. Fees and funding

The fees for 2013-14 are yet to be confirmed. For the year 2012-13 the fees were £16,450 for overseas students and £4,830 for Home/EU students.
