Excellent prospects

Your careers prospects as a systems engineering graduate are excellent. Did you know that there are not enough graduates to fill all the jobs available in this area?

It is also a fact that many employers prefer graduates who are trained in systems engineering over a more specific discipline, like electronic engineering or computer hardware/software. For example, jobs reported by 2008/9 graduates include Graduate Systems Engineer (Atkins), Graduate Software Engineer (Resource Group) and Platform Systems Engineer (MBDA).

Type of career

As a Systems Engineer, you will be very employable in areas as diverse as aerospace, brain imaging, Formula 1 racing, finance and the steel industry. Our graduates go on to a great variety of careers and destinations with many prestigious companies.
