Nathan Arrowsmith, MEng Aerospace Engineering with Private Pilot Instruction 2012 graduate, was announced joint winner of the Association of Aerospace Universities (AAU) Awards 2012 at the Sir John Barnes Trophy Competition held at City University, London, on Friday 26 October. The Award and £500 prize is for the most successful final year aerospace student project from all member universities. This is the fourth year in succession that a Sheffield Aerospace student has won the competition. |

Luke McKay-Smith, who graduated with a MEng Aerospace Engineering, was the worthy winner of the Dr John Barnes Trophy 2011 and a personal cheque for £500 awarded by the Association of Aerospace Universities (AAU). The Award is for the most successful final year aerospace student project from all member universities.

Kris Parag, who graduated with a MEng Aerospace Engineering, was the worthy winner of the Dr John Barnes Trophy 2010 and a personal cheque for £500 awarded by the Association of Aerospace Universities (AAU).
The Award is for the most successful final year aerospace student project from all member universities. The title of Kris’s project was Air Traffic Management. |

Aerospace Engineering student - the worthy winner of
Joshua Jordan, who graduated with an MEng Aerospace Engineering degree, was the worthy winner of the Dr John Barnes Trophy and a personal cheque for £500 awarded by the Association of Aerospace Universities (AAU). Joshua presented a talk entitled "Innovative Aerodynamic Design of a Micro Air Vehicle" at the AEROSPACE ODYSSEY event held on 6th November 2009 at the Concorde Conference Centre, Manchester Airport. |
