Aerospace Engineering with a Year in North America
Aerospace Engineering has a Year in North America Tutor, Dr Kirill Bogdanov (k.bogdanov@sheffield.ac.uk) who, along with the Aerospace Administrative Assistant Mr Peter Lomas (peter.lomas@sheffield.ac.uk), coordinates the Year in North America element of the Year in North America degrees.
The Tutor will advise on the processes for securing a place at a North American university, and for selecting relevant modules, will be the main point of contact during your year abroad and will be responsible for converting the grades awarded by the North American institution to the University of Sheffield grading scheme.
Students must meet a specified level of attainment at the end of years 1 and 2 in order to remain on the Year in North America course (see the Assessment and Progression web pages for further details).
