Student Services Department and Student Services Information Desk (SSiD)

The Student Services Department is located in Edgar Allen House and deals with all administrative matters concerning students, including course and module registration, course and module changes, examination queries and liaison with local education authorities about course fees.

The office also has a Student Services Information Desk (SSiD) in the Student’s Union Building, and this should be the first point of contact for most student-related enquiries. The desk provides the following services:

• Certifying letters
• Change of status forms
• Change of personal details
• Council Tax and LEA confirmation forms
• Financial help information
• Finance-related enquires
• Immigration certifying letters
• Module add/ drop forms
• Self-certification medical notes
• Student loans
• U-cards
• Examinations: calculator and dictionary approval, clash and re-sit forms and transcripts

The Student Services Information Desk is located in the Union of Students, next to the Student Advice Centre and is open Monday - Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
