Making a gift to your University

Thank you for your interest in supporting the University. Your gift will help to educate and inspire the next generation of Sheffield students. Whether you are interested in making a single gift or you would like to set up a regular donation, you will find all the information about how to make your donation on these pages.

For convenience, you may choose to set up a regular donation. A regular commitment will help us to act now, but also plan for the future. This is particularly important for on-going commitments, such as funding student scholarships.

There are a number of ways in which you can make a donation to the University. Please choose from one of the following options below:

Giving from Overseas

EU and Europe residents

Donors from the EU and Europe may donate by any of the methods described above. Please note that we can only process card or online donations in GBP pounds sterling.

Benefactors in a number of European countries may be able to make tax-efficient donations to the University of Sheffield through Transnational Giving Europe (TGE), a partnership of leading European foundations that facilitates tax-efficient cross-border giving within Europe. TGE is currently operational for donations from and to at least a dozen European countries.   The TGE network enables donors resident in one of the participating countries (both corporations and individuals) to financially support non-profit organisations in other member countries, while benefiting directly from the tax advantages provided for in the legislation of their country of residence.

For more information please contact Steve Clark +44 (0)114 222 1076 or email s.r.clark@sheffield.ac.uk.
