Why is the Alumni Fund Telephone Campaign important?
The telephone campaign enables us to:
- Keep your details up-to-date (Have you moved house? Got married? Changed name? New job?)
- Give us a chance to say a big thank you to our previous donors
- Inform you about any alumni special offers (Sports/Library facilities 10% discounts on cottage hire and IT discounts with Viglen Computers )
- Answer any questions you have about our find-a-friend service or the Sheffield Reunited site
- Continue to keep our alumni up-to-date on the latest events and news from the University
- Make a donation to the current Alumni Fund
The calls that we carry out enable you to:
- Ask us any questions and we will try our best to give you an answer
- Build upon the student callers experience by providing them with interesting accounts of how University life has evolved
- Make a lasting contribution to student life at the University
- Help establish links with old friends
- Give us feedback on the latest publications/brochures and events that we offer

For any alumni that we cannot reach during our call times, we will offer daytime call backs or the opportunity for us to receive the call whenever it is most convenient for them. If we do call you at an inconvenient time, or you have any queries about the calling schedule, then please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to make alternative arrangements.
