Open Days at the University of Sheffield

There are two kinds of open days here. At a University Open Day you get the grand tour. You'll tour the University, meet staff and students, see our excellent accommodation, visit Britain's best students' union and fall in love with Sheffield.

After that, you'll want to apply to study archaeology here. You might attend a department open day, where you can take a look around the buildings you'll be studying in. This time you can meet archaeology students and chat to our staff about the courses, careers, and anything else you like.

You'll also get to explore our superb research labs and stores. Handling the skeletons is recommended but not compulsory at this stage.
