Come and visit us
|
There are two kinds of open days here. At a University open day you'll have the opportunity to tour the University, and our excellent accommodation, discuss finances, visit Britain's best students' union and get a feel for life in Sheffield. In addition, you will attend a programme specific talk in the department and have the opportunity to take part in a ‘mini-practical’ in one of our labs. A department open day, which you can attend once you've put in your application, gives you the chance to meet archaeology students and chat to our staff about the courses, careers, facilities and anything else you like. You'll also get to explore our superb research labs and stores. Handling the skeletons is recommended but not compulsory at this stage. |
