Architecture degrees for undergraduates
We believe in architecture that improves people's lives. Through our internationally acclaimed teaching and research, we explore the social, spatial and environmental implications of architecture. Our students and graduates improve lives and communities through their work.
Our undergraduate courses provide a balance of theory, design work and professional experience. You'll learn how to lead on projects, solve complex problems and communicate your ideas. Above all, we'll encourage you to think about the wider responsibilities of the architect.
We're on the top six floors of the newly refurbished Arts Tower. You'll find all the tools you need here, including dedicated design studios – with panoramic views over Sheffield – and specialised computing facilities. Throughout, you'll have the close support of your design tutor, and you'll work alongside people from all over the world.

Our single (BA Architecture K100) and dual honours programmes (BA Architecture and Landscape KK13; MEng Structural Engineering and Architecture HK21) are recognised by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) as giving exemption from RIBA Part 1. All three qualifications are also prescribed, subject to periodic review, by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) for the purposes of entry onto the United Kingdom Register of Architects.
