Annual Conference

Each year individual Universities provide funding for a number of their staff to attend the AUA annual conference. This is a great opportunity for personal development and for networking with other AUA members from all over the world. Over the last few years, conference locations have included the Universities of Derby, Southampton, Manchester, Belfast and Nottingham. Arrangements for next year's conference are well in hand (a mailing about the full programme normally goes out to all AUA members around Christmas, with a deadline for mid-January for applications). The branch member responsible for collecting conference applications is Christine Cleaver (extension 22305, email: c.cleaver@sheffield.ac.uk).

The University has a Car Share Scheme to facilitate travel to conferences etc.
