Clinical Skills Centre

The Clinical Skills Centre is an excellent educational facility, which provides a suite of accommodation and facilities on three floors. The space on each of the floors is designed to be as flexible and versatile as possible to provide the best support of teaching and learning opportunities for students in a variety of clinical and simulated settings. The students have 24 hour access to certain areas of the facility.

The facility has been developed to meet the General Medical Council's recommendations and those defined in the Sheffield core curriculum database. It´s design and resources facilitate and encourage self - directed learning in a safe and supportive environment.

The CS facility is located at the heart of the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust´s northern campus – the Northern General Hospital. This location facilitates ease of access for the students to the clinical environment.
