Postgraduate community
We encourage all our postgraduate students to participate in the seminar series and conferences which take place in the department.
You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in student-organised events, and become involved with the student-led Faculty of Arts and Humanities journal. Track Changes is a biannual, inter-disciplinary, peer-reviewed journal that celebrates the talent and diversity to be found within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Sheffield. It promotes publication by postgraduates of all levels and early-career academics within a year of finishing their doctorate. Each issue is planned around a theme.
Outside of the school, you can get involved with a variety of student-led groups and activities including:
- Faculty Forum.
- PROGRESS, Sheffield's Postgraduate Society, run by postgraduates, for postgraduates.
- PG café forum
- Students’ Union clubs, sports, societies, volunteering and much more.
