The University of Sheffield
Department of Biblical Studies

Undergraduate Open Days and Campus Tours

If you're interested in studying at Sheffield, we'd strongly encourage you to come along to one of our open days to find out about our courses, what the Department is like and, if you've got time, to explore the city.

University open days

The University open days are open to all and provide an ideal opportunity to visit departments, attend a variety of talks and much more.

During the day you'll have the opportunity to visit the Department of Biblical Studies, meet our staff and find out about our courses. You can also tour the campus, and visit the Students' Union and student accommodation village, and attend talks about accommodation, studying abroad and student finance.

Our 2013 University Open Days will take place on the following dates:

To find out more information and to reserve your place, please visit: www.sheffield.ac.uk/opendays

What can you expect at a University Open Day? Meet Aysha, one of our third year students who will talk you about the additional events taking place on the day for those interested in Arts and Humanities subjects like Religion, Theology and the Bible.

Missed an open day? Why not book onto a Campus Tour?

Open days

Our prospective students find that University Open Days really do offer the most comprehensive visitor experience.

However, if you miss our Open Days, why not book onto a campus tour instead?

For more information and to book a place, visit our campus tour webpages.

Why come to an Open Day? Listen to our students reflect on their own experiences of visiting The University of Sheffield for the first time.

What next? Departmental Open Days

If we make you an offer for one of our courses you'll automatically receive an invitation to attend a Department open day. These events take place in February and March each year, and activities include:

  • A more detailed talk about our courses and the University
  • Tours of the University campus including the Students' Union and accommodation at the student village
  • Opportunity to ask staff and current students questions about our courses, student life generally, or living in Sheffield.

If you have any questions about our Departmental Open Days, please contact us.
