Undergraduate courses
Single honours or dual?
Biblical Studies is an interdisciplinary degree course, offering the chance to pursue interests in literature, history, politics, sociology, media, and the arts, as well as learning biblical languages.
All students are entitled (and encouraged) to take modules from other departments within the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, including philosophy, modern languages and music.
For those who prefer, dual honours degrees provide the chance to combine Biblical Studies with another specialism.
Full-time students earn 120 credits each year, with Biblical Studies modules worth 20 credits each. Dual honours students select 60 credits from each department.
For further information about subjects available as part of our dual honours programmes, please visit the Faculty of Arts & Humanities section on the University web site. This includes links to the homepage of each department.

The University is currently reviewing the provision of some dual honours programmes. As a result, combinations with French, German, Linguistics, or Music may not be available for 2011 entry.
