Will Lamb read Theology at Balliol College, Oxford, and did his postgraduate research in New Testament Studies at the University of Cambridge. His research interests include: reception history, the history of biblical interpretation, and the theological and political dimensions of biblical hermeneutics. He is currently engaged in research into the emergence of catenae and the significance of these anthologies of early patristic commentary.

Will taught at the College of Resurrection, Mirfield (part of the University of Leeds), between 1996 - 2003. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, he has taught the 'Bible and Theology' and the 'Bible and Images of Christ' modules since 2002. He is also the Anglican Chaplain to the University and a Canon Residentiary of Sheffield Cathedral.
