Open Days
We organise a number of University Open Days and Departmental Open Days throughout the year to enable prospective students to find out more about the type of academic and social life they can expect at the University of Sheffield and in the Department of Biomedical Science.
Department of Biomedical Science Open Days (post-application)
These are offered to students who have received a conditional or unconditional offer from us. This is a chance to spend more time in the department, meet staff and current students, view our teaching and research facilities and generally help you decide whether to accept our offer!

Open Day at BMS: Programme of events
University Open Days (pre-application)
These are held several times a year and are aimed at students who are in the process of deciding which University and degree course to apply for. Book a visit and come and have a look round, talk to staff and students to really get a feel for the place.
You can attend our general exhibition and information sessions (for example on finance or accommodation) and see the University of Sheffield facilities, such as the Students' Union and the state-of-the-art Information Commons. Ask our experts any questions you might have.
