About the Careers Service

The Careers Service Adviser for Biomedical Science is Alison Clay. Alison is one of the careers advisers who provides help and information to students within the department. You can book an appointment at the Careers Service (morning and afternoon slots available every semester weekday). Check for availability during vacations. The Careers Service is located at 388 Glossop Road, just behind the Student's Union Building. 

We suggest you take time to become familiar with the Careers website and associated services and events provided, whether you are at the beginning of your degree studies or in the final year deciding what to do after graduation.

Skills for Work Certificate & Sheffield Graduate Award

TThe Skills for Work Certificate and Sheffield Graduate Award are designed to help you use experiences you've gained outside your degree work to demonstrate to future employers that you have the necessary skills to perform in the workplace. They also help you to learn more about yourself and your career options. Attainment of the Skills for Work Certificate counts towards the Sheffield Graduate Award.
