Presentations

What are presentations?

We can arrange for representatives from your organisation to meet an audience of interested students to inform them about your organisation and the work experience and / or graduate opportunities you have available.

Presentations are particularly effective for large organisations or those which are likely to be familiar to students. If you are a small to medium-sized organisation, or you think that students will not recognise your name, holding a one-to-one session may be more effective (please see left hand menu).

These events take place mid-October to late-November during the autumn semester, and mid-February to early-May during the spring semester (excluding vacation and exam periods). Early evening bookings are popular and lunchtime events are possible for hour-long presentations.

We offer a range of packages giving you the choice of a variety of venues and catering options. We can also supply information about off-campus venues.

How are presentations publicised?

Your event will be advertised via our online ‘What’s On’ Diary, our regular ‘What’s On Weekly’ email to students, and publicity sent out to departments you are particularly keen to target. Students wishing to attend your event are asked to sign up on the Careers Service website.

We can also distribute any posters that you supply around the University.

Charges

Packages are available from as little as £40 + VAT.
