Supporting Employability Initiatives

The Careers Service co-ordinates a range of student-facing activities such as The Sheffield Graduate Award and the Skills for Work Certificate.

It is also launching a 20 credit Career Management Skills module to level 2 students across the University from September 2011.

Students recognise the value of these activities to help them enhance their employability and promote their skills to employers, so it is important that they are endorsed and supported by a selection of organisations, representing a wide range of employers.

There is no charge for getting involved in these activities, which provide an ideal opportunity for you to raise your profile amongst the student population.
