One-to-One Sessions
Consider One-to-Ones if you ...
- want to make contact with students on an informal one-to-one basis.
- have very specific recruitment needs e.g. need to recruit from a specific discipline or generate interest in a particular function.
- want to encourage good candidates to apply to your organisation.
- are more interested in attracting smaller audiences of well-motivated, interested students than in large student attendances.
- are looking for a cost-effective alternative to presentations or recruitment fairs
One-to-One sessions allow students to meet you in an informal setting and without the need for an application form. Discussions typically last for 20 minutes and provide an opportunity for students to ask, for example, about issues which most concern them or lie outside the scope of your organisation's recruitment literature or website.
One-to-One sessions are well worth considering if you wish to maintain your campus profile but are wary of stimulating too much interest in your vacancies, or if a reducing recruitment budget means that you are looking for options that cost less than traditional presentations and fairs.
Charges: Sessions take place in our dedicated Employer Room, located in the Careers Service. Up to two streams of students can be accommodated in this room. The cost of arranging a one-to-one session is £25 + VAT per stream of students.
