Santander Internships

Santander Internships is a scheme aimed at small and medium sized businesses and organisations nationwide who are interested in recruiting a recent graduate from the University of Sheffield to work on a project-based internship.

Hosting a graduate intern is a great way for your organisation to benefit from the up to date skills and knowledge that a graduate can offer with the added incentive of funding to help you with the cost of employing the graduate.

What does it involve?

Your business will need to:

• Honour a 3-month commitment to host a graduate in your organisation
• Provide a graduate level project
• Commit to match fund the salary of the intern
• Employ the graduate for the duration of the project

What support do you receive?

• £1,500 subsidy towards the intern's wage
• Free advertising of the internship
• A graduate keen to gain valuable experience

Timescale

Santander Internships can commence any time from now onwards, the wage subsidy is available on a first come first serve basis and subject to your internship being approved by the University of Sheffield and Santander.  Successful graduates must have started their internship no later than the end of June 2013.
