All Careers Service events, activities and publications are heavily promoted to our students via email, our website and paper publicity. Sponsors are given prominent and positive mention whenever we promote the provision with which they are involved – and with 26,000 students studying at Sheffield that can mean a lot of publicity!

Prizes for students

Description
The Careers Service occasionally offers the opportunity for students to be entered into a prize draw as an incentive for completing a survey, attending an open day or event etc. Donations of items to be used as prizes are welcomed, for example an interview suit/clothing, iPad, Tablet, Kindle, work experience or an insight day at your offices.
Sponsorship benefits
Acknowledgement of the support of your organisation will be made when the draw is publicised and the prize is handed over to the winner.

Careers Service overview leaflet

Description
This leaflet is designed to inform students of all years about the Careers Service provision, ranging from information, advice and guidance to support with searching for student and graduate jobs and our Recruitment Fairs.
Sponsorship benefits
Your organisation’s logo will appear on the leaflet. With a print run of 5000, it is widely distributed throughout the year in our Careers Service, via the Students' Union, in departments and at our Fairs and other events.

Briefing Booklets

Description
We produce a series of briefing booklets on various subjects such as job hunting, further study and interviews.
Sponsorship benefits
Your organisation’s logo and acknowledgement of your support will be printed on the front cover of all 20 briefing booklets in the series – a total print run of 36,000. Booklets are distributed via the Careers Service, the Student Jobshop, talks in departments and at fairs and events. They are also available to download from our website.

The Careers Service Guide to…After Graduation, What Next?

Description
This information booklet provides finalists with information about the services available to them when they graduate. It is published annually in April.
Sponsorship benefits
Your organisation’s logo and acknowledgement of your support will appear on the front of the sheet. 1000 paper copies are distributed to final year students via the Careers Service, at talks in departments and at fairs and events. It can also be downloaded from our website.

Develop your Skills booklet

Description
This new booklet informs students of all years and disciplines about the key activities offered to them by the Careers Service to develop their skills. It contains information about the Students Jobshop and employability initiatives such as the Sheffield Graduate Award and the ‘Skills for Success’ programme.

Your organisation’s logo and acknowledgement of your support will appear on the printed and web-based versions of this 8-page booklet. With a print run of 500, the booklet is distributed to students in all years via the Careers Service, Student Jobshop and at talks in departments.

What’s On Weekly (WOW)

Description
These newsletters are emailed to students students of all years each week to inform them about upcoming events and activities in the Careers Service programme. Five newsletters are sent out each week, tailored to each of the University’s five faculties.
