Profile Raising Through Sponsorship
Make sure that our students have a strong awareness of your organisation, and your interest in recruiting from the University of Sheffield, by having your name mentioned prominently alongside key elements of Careers Service provision.
Why consider sponsorship?
All Careers Service events, activities and publications are heavily promoted to our students via email, our website and paper publicity. Sponsors are given prominent and positive mention whenever we promote the provision with which they are involved – and with 26,000 students studying at Sheffield that can mean a lot of publicity!
Sponsorship can result in opportunities not made available to other employers:
- Additional advertising opportunities e.g. prime advertising sites in brochures, websites and mentions on campus-wide email messages.
- First choice of prime stand locations if you sponsor a recruitment or information event.
- Additional links to your organisation’s website.
- First refusal on the continuation of your sponsorship for a further year.
What can your organisation sponsor?
The list that follows provides you with information about the various ways in which you can raise your profile at the University of Sheffield through sponsorship of Careers events, activities and publications. We also seek the donation of items which would be suitable as prizes for students e.g. as part of a prize draw for completing a survey or attending an event.
We are always open to suggestions if you have other ideas about how you would like to become involved and we are happy to discuss opportunities for supporting activities in other areas of the University e.g. the Students’ Union or individual academic departments.
