Energy Institute Foxwell Memorial Prize

The annual University of Sheffield Energy Institute Lecture was held on 26 October 2011. Over 100 delegates from across the university and the region attended to hear Chris Lewis from Rolls Royce discuss bio-jet fuels in the aerospace industry. Sarah Beacock, EI Professional Affairs Director, was also present. Before the lecture began, Yorkshire Branch Chairman Mohammad Zandi and Chris Lewis presented the 2011 Foxwell Memorial Prize to joint winners: Laura Weddell (pictured) and Catriona Brownlie. The Foxwell Memorial Prize is awarded to a student who shows outstanding promise in work in fuel technology. Catriona was unable to attend due to work commitments but sent this short video.
