Biography

Prior to studying in Sheffield, I completed a BSc (hons) Biotechnology at the University of Edinburgh and an EPSRC funded PGDip Energy and Environment at the University of Leeds. My PhD is funded by the Sheffield A*STAR Research Attachment Programme.

Supervisor:
Professor David James

Research Group:
Biological and Environmental Systems Group

Research

A molecular dissection of polyethylenimine mediated transfection in CHO cells. My research is applicable to biopharmaceutical production through transient gene expression, for which large scale transfection of mammalian cells is required.
