Biography

I gained a degree in Hispanic Studies from the University of Hull in 1986 and a Postgraduate Diploma from the University of Central Lancs in 1990. I have been in university administration since 1992, first working at Manchester Metropolitan University and moving to Sheffield in 1997.

I am broadly responsible for academic administration in the Department, working closely with the Directors of Teaching and Student Support. This includes setting up and developing administrative procedures, ensuring that the Department follows university guidelines and quality procedures as well as overseeing the Admissions process. I am a member of the Curriculum Committee.
