Biography

I graduated from the University of Stirling in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Film and Media Studies and after a brief stint in the 'real world' I decided to return to university the same year to study an MA in Design at the University of Leeds where I specialised in Graphic Design.

After graduating I found employ with Leeds City Council in various roles within the Culture department, the most recent of which was Design and Development Officer, where I worked across numerous functions to bring design and marketing to Libraries, Arts and Heritage.

In early 2012 I moved to Sheffield and began to work for the University of Sheffield as Marketing Officer within the Department of Biological and Chemical Engineering, in early 2013 I started a secondment as Communications Officer for the Faculty of Engineering.

Responsibilities

I am responsible for the upkeep of departmental marketing material, both online and print. I also assist with marketing planning and support recruitment, alumni and internal communications. I'm also known to help with departmental events.
