Recycling and Waste DisposalReducing our waste and recycling, is a great way to reduce landfill, combat climate change and conserve limited resources. A combination of University recycling schemes and sending our general waste for further separation mean that over 82% of the university’s waste was recycled or recovered 2009/10. We now also send our general waste to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), over 81% of University general waste is separated for reuse, recycling or recovery.
