Chemistry with Study in America (MChem)

World map showing USA
  • UCAS Code: F109
  • Type of course: MChem
  • Duration: 4 years
  • Entry requirements: Grades AAB
  • A minimum of GCSE Maths Grade B is required for this course

Students qualifying for this MChem program spend their third year in a host University in North American sub-continent (Canada and the USA). The single Honours MChem course provides the core of this four-year programme, with the addition of a year abroad where you will gain a valuble insight into a different society and culture, and become resilient and mature in advance of your peers who remain at home.

Students who spend a year in America are liable for half-fees and for full maintenance costs over this year at UK rates. In general you should allow some extra spending money for time abroad, but it should be possible to budget for this.
