Health information management research lies at the core of CHIMR´s mission. Our mission is to conduct and disseminate world class scientific research and education to improve the management and use of information within healthcare worldwide.

Specifically, this mission is threefold:

1. To undertake high quality scientific research to improve the management of information within healthcare;
   
2. To provide a focus for the international dissemination of health information management research and its products;
   
3. To provide high quality research-led education in health information management.
