Using international character sets in Word

You can insert any character or symbol into your Word document by selecting the Insert tab, clicking the Symbol option and selecting More Symbols.

Select a Font from the drop-down list, followed by a Subset.

There are also other character sets available. The example below shows characters from the international phonetic alphabet.
