UK Students voted us the best University for IT Support

The latest Student Barometer survey has good news for CiCS. We have maintained a high rate of satisfaction for our IT services.

The Student Barometer

The Student Barometer (UK Domiciled Students) and International Student Barometer surveys are independent surveys carried out by i-graduate. The results are compared with participating Universities across the Russell Group, UK and Internationally. Questions are asked about the application process as well as experiences once students arrive. Surveys are sent out twice a year.

CiCS Results

In the Student Barometer UK domiciled student ranked CiCS 1st across the UK with 96% satisfaction. International students ranked CiCS 1st in the Russell Group and 8th in the UK.

We asked all students whether they were satisfied with the Learning Technology provided (PC's, networking etc) 92% were satisfied. 93% were satisfied with the Virtual Learning Environment.

Satisfaction with internet access in University managed accommodation satisfaction was between 78-82% (dependent on which accommodation people live in). We know that there were some temporary issues at the time the survey was carried out but we will look into what we can do to improve this service.

CiCS want to thank students for taking part in this survey. We will continue our work to improve services based on your feedback.
