Guidelines for Staff Dealing with Personal Data

Anyone who deals with Personal Information is required to handle that information confidentially and sensitively. All personal information, whether held on computer or in structured manual records of any kind, is subject to the 1998 Data Protection Act, which came into force on 1 March 2000.
