account settings

If you follow the wizard through it will ask you about sending mail from your University account too. Select "Yes, I want to be able to send mail as yourusername@sheffield.ac.uk" and accept all the other default setting for sending mail.

Once this is all done you will need to go back to your University Account and look for a confirmation E-mail you will have been sent to you, this contains a link, which must be clicked to activate the link between accounts (this confirmation E-mail may well go straight into your "Spam" folder).

Please note: If your original account is to be suspended you will not be able to send from it.
