CiCS is working to reduce the energy consumption of University IT systems and promote environmentally friendly alternatives to current printing practices. Sustainability is one of our Top Five priorities for 2013-4.

In April 2013 we won Gold in the Green Impact Awards and were highly commended for our server virtualisation programme and sustainable print service.
