HPC@sheffield is the prestigious research computing event at The University of Sheffield show casing projects using research computing facilities nationally, regionally and hosted locally at The University of Sheffield. Join us for presentations, vendor exhibits and demonstrations showing how you can access and utilise the facilities available for research computing. 

HPC@Sheffield is also the launch event for the Sheffield Advanced Research Computer (ShARC). This new High Performance Computer (HPC)  forms the basis of a new system allowing Research groups to host their hardware while enjoying the benefits of a centrally supported and maintained research infrastructure.  The ShARC uses fair sharing to make it freely available to all researchers.
