Creating a new MUSE Group

To create a new group, click the Request Group tab, then complete the form.

  1. Provide a Name, Title and Description.
  2. Specify the most suitable category
  3. Specify whether the group is visible in Group Type, specify who can see a visible group in Browse Control, then specify whether the CiCS Administrator can see a hidden group in Admin Blocked.
  4. Specify which application you require in Group Applications
  5. Use Request Comment to communicate with the CiCS administrator (see Adding members automatically)
  6. Read the group policies and tick the accept box
  7. Click the Submit Request button

After a short time, he group administrator will activate your group.
