Your UCard PIN

A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is needed to use some swipe locked doors at the University, especially out of hours.

This is different to your library PIN, which is available from

library.shef.ac.uk/open/getpin.html

Obtaining your PIN

You can get your PIN by going to the Computer User Account Management web page

1. Log in with your username and password.
2. Select option 6.
3. Select Log out.

Your PIN will be emailed to your university email address straight away.

• For security purposes, you should not give your PIN to anyone.
• If you think someone might know your PIN contact the UCard and registration team.
