Nicola Reilly, Programme Manager, CILASS 0114 2225272 Email: n.reilly@sheffield.ac.uk
In my role as Programme Manager, I have responsibility for the day-to-day running of the programme and also support the implementation and monitoring of CILASS´s strategic direction.
My day-to-day management responsibilities include the setting up and running of the administrative processes and systems to ensure the smooth running of the programme. I also look after the financial planning and risk management and regularly report progress to our Steering Group. Working alongside Dee MacCormack, our dissemination adviser, I manage and monitor the dissemination strategy to ensure that CILASS raises awareness and encourages engagement both externally and inside the institution. I also liaise with professional service departments across the University and have close links with the Teaching and Learning Support Unit, the Learning Development and Media Unit and the Library. I am available to offer specialist expertise and advice in the application of project management techniques and look forward to working with more of our project leaders as CILASS rolls out across the University. Together with Sheila Corry, the CILASS Secretary, we aim to offer an excellent administrative support to the core CILASS team.
I joined the CILASS core team as the Programme Manager in October 2005. My background in education administration and management is wide and varied ranging from co-ordinating a Learning Partnership on the Wirral in Merseyside to project managing the strategic area review of 14-19 provision in South Yorkshire for the Learning and Skills Council. My HE administrative experience began at Edge Hill College in Ormskirk and saw me most recently as Assistant Registrar (Programmes) at Liverpool Hope University College.
The importance of strong and robust networks and communities of interest (both internally and externally) cannot be over estimated and I hope to contribute to the development of these networks and relationships in a positive way.
I look forward to working in partnership with all our stakeholders to add value to what to CILASS can achieve.
If I can help you I will…….
