CIM10 - Venue

CIM10 will take place in Halifax Hall (at Endcliffe Vale Road) and The Edge (at Endcliffe Crescent), in Endcliffe Village, which is the conference venue of the University of Sheffield. The Endcliffe Village offers brand new conference facilities and accommodation all within one self contained location and is situated in a quiet residential area of Sheffield.

How to find us

By Air
The venue is just one hour by car from regional airports at Leeds/Bradford, East Midlands and Manchester. There is a direct train connection between Manchester and Sheffield. The connection from the other airports is by bus followed by train and take considerably more than one hour.

The new Robin Hood Doncaster airport, opened in May 2005, is 35 minutes from central Sheffield.

Sheffield is at the heart of the rail network. Regular services operate between Sheffield and London St. Pancras, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham.

By Bus
The University of Sheffield´s main campus is serviced by over 15 bus services. Bus 40 and 120 towards Fulwood provide the best connection to the conference venue (stop at Tapton Hill on Fulwood Road).

By Supertram
One of the easiest ways to travel to main campus is by the Supertram. The regular service stops at the railway station and the University. Tickets are purchased from the conductors on the trams.

By Coach
National Express operates a coach service from various UK points to the Sheffield Transport Interchange.

By Taxi
There is a taxi rank at the railway station. The journey to the main campus takes about 15 minutes and 20-25 to Halifax and The Edge in The Endcliffe Village.

By road

Parking spaces are available for conference guests at all our venues, including spaces for blue badge holders.
