Welcome to Cleaning Services

The University of Sheffield Cleaning Service employs 240 mainly part time and some full time cleaning staff.  We clean in excess of 100 buildings across campus, with varied and diverse needs including offices, laboratories, lecture theatres, restaurants and café’s etc.

We offer fully trained, experienced, in-house cleaners that can offer comprehensive service for everything from office cleaning to carpet cleaning. With a great reputation and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, if there is something specialist you require please contact us.

We provide  Monday-Friday services times to fit round your buildings/departments needs and also offer a more flexible planned cleaning for adhoc scheduled such as events/exhibitions/open days. If you require this service please email rapidresponse@sheffield.ac.uk with at least one weeks’ notice.

Our recently introduced Rapid Response service is for anything which requires an immediate/reactive cleaning presence.

A reactive Cleaning services is available between the hours of 8.30am-5.00pm  for such occasions as large spillages, floods, vomit, faeces etc. Please call the Estates and Facilities Management Helpdesk on 29000.
