University Security Services

Every year the University of Sheffield spends over £1.6 million on security across the estate. This includes a team of 42 security officers, vehicles and equipment.

The University security helpline operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The service is available to both students and local residents to report any noise or behavioural issues day or night.
