Award-winning programme

SheffieldVolunteering (run by the University´s Union of Students) is an award-winning outreach programme, which provides our students with a wide range of community volunteering opportunities.

Over 1000 students each year provide services for 142 community organisations, charities and schools.

The student volunteers support the elderly, refugees, homeless, young people, parents and those with disabilities and learning difficulties.

Students are also involved in environmental, animal welfare, advocacy, mediation and mental health projects.
