Lunchtime Concert Series - Spring 2007
There are free lunchtime concerts at 1.10pm every Thursday of term time. They last for around an hour and take place at The Drama Studio.
The concerts are friendly and informal and offer a unique and cost-free alternative way of spending a lunch hour. Admission is free and members of the audience may arrive and leave between items.
THURSDAY 15 FEBRUARY
Outroads
Local five-piece band mixing 21st century blues with an alternative country feel. Original songs combine gutsy lead vocals with a unique bond/battle between electric violin and harmonica.
THURSDAY 22 FEBRUARY
In celebration of the composer Charles Camilleri's 75th birthday year, a concert featuring some of his chamber music and including Image Sans Frontieres for four Bb Clarinets. The composer will be present to introduce his music.
