Sports and Library Facilities

Members of Convocation can benefit from discounted membership rates at the University's USport facilities.

At S10health, the health and fitness centre, you can save 16% on membership compared to general public rates. You can also benefit from the exclusive offer of annual off-peak membership at S10health. Please check for the latest prices as this offer is not available to the general public.

You can use the sports Pay and Play facilities to enjoy a game of squash, badminton or football at discounted rates. There are savings of between 25% and 33% at off-peak times.

The University Library offers a free External Borrower Service that can be used by members of Convocation. You do not need to be resident in Sheffield, but will need to have access to the University to register and to borrow and return books. Electronic resources are unfortunately not available as access is restricted by licence to current University staff and students.

To join, you will need to take proof of address (e.g. driving licence or utility bill) and proof of graduation (usually your certificate) to the Main Library where you will be asked to fill in the relevant form.
