Working with business

We work closely with a wide range of businesses and public sector organisations in the South Yorkshire region and beyond.

Our collaborations range from research projects where cutting edge University research is applied to real-life business problems, through to working with employees to support them with recruitment of top-class Sheffield graduates.

We are also able to advise on potential funding opportunities for businesses, large and small, to help them advance their technological know-how.

Many of our students are actively involved in business during their time at Sheffield. This may be through working part-time with a local employer, or learning entrepreneurial skills at our Enterprise Zone.
